Allow Us to Reintroduce Ourselves

It’s a new year, and we may have some new people here, so I thought we would reintroduce the team. Here’s a little bit about us + our goals for 2023 (we may be spilling some tea on newness this year) : 

Ali - Founder + CEO 

What made you want to start MP? 

I was working my first job in retail, bringing my lunch to work every day because of how much faster, cheaper, and healthier it was, however I quickly realized that I did not have a chic or functional way to do so. When I looked for a lunchbox, I only found options for little kids and men, but nothing for women who wanted to look + feel their best. From there, Modern Picnic was born! 

What is your New Year's Goal? 

Drink 3L of water every day (I'm so bad at this), walk 10K steps every day, and start journaling/ meditation (ambitious I know). 

What are you most excited about for 2023? 

Our wholesale expansion strategy! Soo many exciting things in the pipe. 

Can you give us a sneak peak of something new coming this year? 

Let's just say we have something new launching that is highly requested, yet I think it will surprise people. 

Amber - Operations + Partnerships

What is your New Year's goal?

My New Year's goal is to read at least 1 book every month + watch less TV before bed.

What are you most excited about for 2023?

I am most excited to take a long overdue vacation with my boyfriend to somewhere warm (somewhere get us out of the freezing midwest)! Professionally, I am so excited to continue growing Modern Picnic with our amazing team. I have a feeling 2023 is going to be our biggest year yet!

Hannah - Marketing 

What is your New Year's goal? 

This year, I want to focus on taking care of my body. After graduating college and moving to NYC, it's easy to get lazy and not take care of yourself, so I'm really trying to focus on my overall health - this includes drinking more water, being more active, and eating better! 

What are you most excited about for 2023? 

Right now, I am most excited for our Spring Summer launch (it's going to be a good one).  I am currently planning our photoshoot, and all I can say is WOW. I also just can't wait to see what this year holds for MP! 

Caeley - Social Media + Graphic Design 

What is your New Year's goal?

When working from home, it can be hard to motivate, so this year I really want to be more active during the work week. I am also really trying to be better at saving money! 

What are you most excited about for 2023?

Our Spring launch…. New products + colors! Our best launch yet
