I am floored with how well the painting came out!! The artist who paints these by hand, Lauren Nisenson did such a perfect job capturing my boy. Attached the original photo so you can see how realistic the painting looks :)

The tote itself exceeded my expectations as well! It's one of the nicest Vegan leather totes I've seen & the leather looks very real in my opinion. It has a ton of structure, but can tell it will get a slight slouch on the sides with use and I am thoroughly looking forward to that too. It is a little larger than I was expecting - the measurements say 16" wide, and that is the bottom of the tote. The top edge to edge measures 19". Just something to be aware of. The zipper and material all feel very high quality and look designer. Love that the back pocket unzips at the bottom to double as a luggage sleeve when traveling.

I didn't actually purchase the tote to be used as a lunch box (was the only tote I've seen with hand painted pet portraits, so I was sold by that alone), but I'm sure that will come in handy at some point in time, and appreciate that it's removable.

The pet portrait came out so good and the friend that received it was obsessed! She immediately knew it was her cat before I could say anything. Such a personal touch to the bag. Great gift idea!

I gave a pet portrait cream tote to a friend who has everything and is also a passionate dog lover and she was delighted!!! She thought it was the cutest bag ever!!! It was so special and the custom portrait was so well done!

The pet portrait is an amazing customization to an otherwise amazing bag! Not only is the bag cute on its own, but is now completely personalized to YOU! I was a little worried how well Mizu and her more complicated markings would translate, but I have to say their artist nailed it! Definitely worth! My only suggestion to you, review reader, is if you use more than one Tupperware in your bag, get the larger one. Sometimes the latches are a smidge hard to close if it's very full.
